Crime Stoppers Speakers BureauIf you are a business or an organization and would like a presentation on the objectives and benefits of promoting active participation in Crime Stoppers of Marion County, Inc., we would like to provide a speaker to make a presentation to your group. The presentation, which includes a question and answer session that lasts approximately 20-30 minutes, is suitable for lunch & learn sessions or extended work breaks. The presentation is designed for groups of 10 to 30 attendees and is available from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The program consists of a visual-audio presentation and is best held in a lecture-seating configuration in a room or area suitable for video projection. A member of the Marion County Sheriff's Department or City of Ocala, Dunnellon, or Belleview Police Departments will be present to discuss the effectiveness of the program, with discussions on Crime Stoppers Awards and current major crimes and criminal activity in Marion County that need help from the community.
